Payment Methods

1. Credit and debit cards

We accept all major card brands issued by banks in Spain, the European Union, United Kingdom, Switzerland and most non-EEA countries. The charge is placed at order confirmation time and a receipt is emailed to you immediately.

Transaction security

• 3D Secure 2 authentication (SCA): every card transaction issued in the EEA is verified through the 3DS2 protocol, in line with the European PSD2 directive.
• PCI-DSS Level 1 certified: our payment processor (Stripe / Redsys depending on the issuing bank) complies with the highest industry security standard.
• Tokenization: sensitive card data is replaced by an encrypted token and never reaches our servers.
• TLS 1.3 encryption throughout the entire payment session.
• Real-time fraud protection with risk scoring.

2. PayPal

We accept PayPal as an alternative to card payment, letting you settle your order from your PayPal balance, linked bank account or stored card without sharing your financial details with us.

• Instant payment: the order moves to "confirmed" as soon as PayPal approves the transaction.
• PayPal Buyer Protection may apply according to PayPal's terms.
• Billed in EUR — no currency conversion if your PayPal account is denominated in euros.
• Refunds are processed directly back to the PayPal account used at checkout.

3. SEPA bank transfer

For high-value orders, approved-quote purchases, or corporate customers whose internal policies require wire payment, we accept SEPA bank transfer in euros. It is the preferred method for most of our B2B customers.

How it works

1. At checkout, select "Bank transfer" as the payment method.
2. You will receive a proforma invoice by email with the bank details (IBAN, BIC/SWIFT, account holder and payment reference). The account holder is Invermae Solutions SL.
3. Issue the transfer from your bank, using the order number shown on the proforma as the payment reference.
4. Once we confirm receipt (usually 1–2 business days within the SEPA zone), the order goes into preparation and shipping.
5. A final invoice with the applied payment will be sent along with the shipping confirmation.

4. Invoicing and VAT handling

All catalog prices are shown excluding VAT. VAT is calculated at the last checkout step according to European rules:

• Spain: always charged at 21% VAT, including for companies with a Spanish VAT ID.
• Businesses with a valid VIES VAT ID (rest of the EU): intra-Community supply, VAT exempt (art. 25 Law 37/1992). We validate your VAT ID in real time against the official European Commission VIES database.
• Individuals in other EU countries: Spanish VAT (21%) is charged until the OSS threshold is reached, after which the destination country's local VAT rate applies.
• Countries outside the EU: exempt from European VAT; import duties and destination taxes may apply and are borne by the customer.

We issue electronic invoices compliant with Spanish regulation (Law 18/2022, Crea y Crece), available from your customer area and delivered by email on shipment confirmation.

5. Quotes and large orders

For orders above €10,000, turnkey projects or custom configurations, use the "Request Quote" button in the cart or email us at info@secondlifehardware.com. You will receive a formal offer within 24 business hours, including specific terms, lead times and financing options if needed.
