2. Acceptance
Accessing the site and placing an order constitutes express acceptance of these general terms. If you disagree, please refrain from using the service. These terms apply between Invermae Solutions, S.L. («the Seller») and the customer placing the order («the Customer»).
3. Products and availability
We sell refurbished enterprise hardware (servers, switches, storage, components) and, occasionally, new equipment. Each product page indicates:
- Condition: Refurbished Grade A+ unless explicitly marked as «New».
- Brand, model and technical specifications.
- Configurator options where applicable (CPU, RAM, storage, NIC, RAID).
Images are illustrative. Stock availability may vary; we reserve units upon payment. If an item runs out of stock after your order, we will notify you within 48 hours and offer a full refund.
4. Pricing and VAT
All prices shown exclude VAT. VAT is calculated and shown in the cart and order confirmation according to:
- Spain: 21% VAT applies mandatorily, including to customers with a Spanish VAT ID.
- EU intra-community: VAT-exempt if the customer provides a VAT number valid in VIES (reverse charge rule, Art. 25 Spanish VAT Law 37/1992).
- EU consumers: we apply OSS (One-Stop Shop) with the destination country's VAT rate.
- Outside EU: VAT-exempt. The customer is responsible for import duties and taxes at destination.
5. Payment
We accept the following payment methods, all with TLS 1.3 encryption:
- Card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Maestro) with 3DS2/PSD2 authentication via Redsys (BBVA) or Stripe.
- PayPal.
- SEPA bank transfer (proforma with 5-day stock reservation).
Orders above €10,000 require advance bank transfer. Bank account details are communicated exclusively from our corporate domain.
6. Shipping and delivery
We ship to mainland Spain, Balearic and Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla, and the rest of the European Union. Reference lead times from payment confirmation:
- Mainland Spain: 24-72 business hours.
- Balearic Islands: 3-5 business days.
- Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla: 5-10 business days (with customs declaration).
- EU: 5-7 business days.
Risk of loss or damage transfers to the Customer at the moment of physical delivery. Any visible packaging damage must be noted on the carrier's delivery note at the time of receipt.
7. Warranty
All refurbished equipment includes a free 1-year warranty covering manufacturing defects and hardware failures not caused by misuse. Covers parts and labour; does not cover consumables, accidental damage, customer modifications, software, or normal wear of batteries and magnetic media. Full RMA process at /warranty-returns.
Extended 3-year warranty available as an upgrade: priority RMA, advance replacement, NBD support.
8. Right of withdrawal (consumers)
EU consumers have 14 calendar days from receipt to withdraw without justification. To exercise it, contact info@secondlifehardware.com with your order number. We refund within 14 days of receiving the product in original condition. Return shipping costs are borne by the Customer unless the product is defective on arrival.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to B2B customers (companies and self-employed persons acting in the course of their business).
9. Limitation of liability
Except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence, the Seller's aggregate liability towards the Customer is limited to the amount paid for the order subject to the claim. The Seller is not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit, data loss or business interruption.
The Customer is responsible for maintaining their own backups of any data stored on equipment. The Seller applies NIST 800-88 secure erasure before shipping and is not liable for residual data from the previous owner.
10. Intellectual property
All content (texts, images, code, trademarks) is the property of Invermae Solutions, S.L. or its respective owners, protected by current legislation. Reproduction without express authorisation is prohibited.
11. Data protection
Personal data processing is governed by our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to terms
The Seller reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. The version in effect is the one published on this site at the moment of placing the order.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Spanish law. For the resolution of any dispute, the parties expressly submit to the Courts and Tribunals of Madrid (capital), except where mandatory law establishes another jurisdiction (consumers).
